Hi,

I read a post here and also on the USEM site that SLEC is increasing th medical fee. It will be effective on March 1.

A fellow VJer and I got really curious about the inrease and we wanted to know if TD shots (which is only available in the US and will be required for AOS) will be available soon thats why there is an increase. So i called SLEC today and found out that it DOES NOT include he TD shot. Haaayy. The lady i spoke to said that by April they will be able to answer if TD shots will be available here by then and if it is, then that's another increase aside from the March increase.

I wonder how much it will cost around that time

Oh well what can we do? I am pretty sure it'll all be worth it though when we all arive in the US to be with our loved ones.

Goodluck to everyone in the process!

True. I guess with regards to the gradual increase of fees, from filing of the petition to the visa application, medical and other fees, we cant really complain but abide and pay. Its the same with the filing of petitions after marrying in the US. Have to pay :).

Removal of Conditions :

August 16, 2010 - Petition received by USCIS Vermont Center

August 20, 2010 - NOA1 received

October 4, 2010 - Biometrics

January 3, 2011 - Permanent 10 yr. Green Card Received.

And I thought the reason why they will have the increase is because they can now administer the TD shots... These shots are given here in US for free if you'll have it at the city health department.

I think it's also normal and they have the right to increase fees for employees' salary, etc. Just hope they will have the TD shot in there.
