Hi,

At this point. the marriage has been solemnized and consummated, so its on to adjustment of status (AOS). This post is just a general question about the AOS for derivative children. How is this accomplished? Do we have to submit a seperate G-325a (Biographic Information), I-864 (Affidavit of Support), I-485 (Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status), and I-131 (Application for Travel Document) for each little ankle biter? Do we have to submit fees for each one? Or are they somehow derived from the K1 AOS?

We have been discussing submitting I-765 (Application for Employment Authorization) for each child. Especially the 3 year old. I figure we could lease him out to the power company to replace one or two nuclear power plants (joke alert).

Frank

Yes unfortunately :(

You'll be happy to know that for children under 14, it is a mere $600 each which also includes AP...Unfortunately the USCIS may have some outdated ides about issuing them EADs :(

Frank

each will require a separate application and fees for AOS.

instructions say G-325a is not needed under age 14.

if submitting applications at the same time as your wife, you can use a photocopy of the I-864 with your kids applications and do not need to provide supporting documents. However, we received an RFE for supporting documents for our daughter.
