i called nvc last night to inquire my case number...we were approved last feb 7,2008 but then until now i dont know if i already have case number...

i sent email first but two weeks past no reply.so i decided to call but the machine operator says that all operators are busy...i called them three times but i cannot get in...

so i decided to send email again,is it allowed that i sent them twice already cause the first email is i did not include my date of birth...

any suggestions?????pls post...thanks

TRY TO CALL THE NVC THE 1ST THING THEY OPEN THE LINE WHICH IS 0730 EASTERN TIME..IT IS OK TO EMAIL THEM HOW MANY TIMES YOU WANT, BUT THE PROBLEM WITH THE EMAIL, UR CASE PROBABLY ALREADY IN MANILA BEFORE YOU GOT THE REPLY FROM THE EMAIL ..I SUGGEST BETTER CALLING THEM RATHER USING EMAIL

8:30 P.M in the Philippines..You mean you calling from the Philippines?I suggest the person who's in the US make the phone call or if you got approved Feb. 07, it might be already in Manila..Try to call US embassy manila 1st..

i used to cringe when i got that reply!!

lol...just keep calling back...lol...i used to call over and over and over again until i got on the line...or, as someone said, call once they open or right before they close....which is midnight, eastern time.....i'm not sure what the difference is between the philippines and here [new york]...

NVC are very inconsistent, Just wait. My wife approve Dec. 4......case# entered in the system Dec. 28 = 24 days

my son approve Jan. 14 they entered case in the system Jan. 25 = 11 days.

The Philippines is 13 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time.

CSC and VSC are very inconsistant on how soon they forward your petitions to the NVC. It tok about 30 days after approval for NVC to tell me our case number.

My I-129 was approved Feb 5,2008 and I just received my letter from NVC today stating my packet will be sent to Manila within a week. I never did receive any email giving status, so I think yours will be there anytime, as we are only 2 days apart.

PS. I also sent an email and never did get a reply either.

Hi, we filed our K1 visa petition Nov. 2006, got approved Feb. 2007. i emailed NVC week after my fiance got the approval letter to give time for NVC to have our paperworks. i heard nothing for 3 days so i decided to send another follow-up email in case they didn't get it. a day after i got response from NVC for my 1st email stating that they got our paperworks and assigned case #. i also got another email in response to the 2nd email i sent as follow-up. our paperwork was forwarded to USEM a week later and it showed up on visa appointment on the 2nd week of March.

i know how it feels while waiting for every movement of our paperworks. just be patient and hang in there, everything will be fine and it will be finally over before you know it.
