Hi,

I met my wife Feb 05' , we married march 24th 06, I've traveled to PI twice and love it there, we even built a small house in Province.

My wife was married and we went thru an annulment. Now we need to adopt the child she has been mother too since birth as she has never legally adopted the foundling child.

Right now we are about to start adoption process and I feel so lost and scared of what I dont know.

I dont know the proceedures for US immigration of an adopted child and find myself sleepless and without appetite wondering if the adoption will cause us problems to reunite.

Its truely amazing how much you can miss a person.

Well I know it may seem a black intro to myself but thats where we both are right now.

Yeah, but he said the child is not legally his wife's, so I would think that would make things a bit more complicated.

Sounds like it will be a bit of a process for you, but you'll make it. Agree with a poster above..you all look so happy together! I wish you the best in your journey, and try not to worry too much!! Difficult I know, and if you knew me better, you would say that coming from YOU??? Guess I should practice what I preach! :) When you really want something, and just keep plugging away at it..things have a way of working out though, and I'm sure they will for you. You're absolutely right, it IS hard to be apart and everyone here understands that, believe me! My husband is from England and he's back there visiting for just a month right now and I really miss him..but we went through the visa process too, and it's tough to be separated..the light at the end of the tunnel is...you have the rest of your lives to look forward to with someone really really special by your side. All the best, and welcome.. M.
