Hi Everyone,

Found this site a week ago... so glad I did! One can only learn so much from www.uscis.gov! I've set up "My Controls" and signature and all that... updated my timeline... how do you guys get your timelines personalized so well? Not sure I set that up right.

I just sent my K-1 in yesterday... overnight mail. Overkill, I know, since there seems to be a 4-month backlog in Nebraska, but our hearts and souls went into that packet and I wanted to be sure that I could at least track it to the mail room :)

I attached our story in our profile, so I'm not sure whether people actually read them there... my fiance (David) is British (London, England born), living in Germany. I live in the mid-Michigan area. We met last Aug while I was there on vacation... he passed a note to me through a waitress, inviting me to visit with someone who speaks English (well, almost :P ) and the rest is 'history'! I'll have lots of questions to post in other topics, but I just wanted to write a bit and meet some of you. I feel like I'm going through this all alone - no one I know has a clue as to what's involved with all of this, so it's nice to know you guys are here.

Looking forward to this process... and to helping out where I can as well!

1/6/07 - leaving for USA

1/20/07 - Wedding Date

1/20/07 - MARRIED!!!!!

2/10/07 - rec'd certified copy of marriage license

3/20/07 - Rec'd Social Security Card

3/21/07 - Checks Cashed and Case Status online

3/24/07 - NOA1 Rec'd for AOS and EAD

3/27/07 - rec'd Biometrics appt letter - scheduled for 4/20/07 @ 11:00am

4/02/07 - "touched"

4/20/07 - had biometrics appt.

4/21/07 - rec'd letter stating case was transferred to CSC

5/22/07 - rec'd Case Pending at CSC email

6/25/07 - EAD card production ordered

7/7/07 - EAD "touched"

7/7/07 - AOS "touched"

8-6-07 - Rec'd EAD Card in the Mail

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)
