Very interesting. Not new as far as the theory goes, but it is another study backing it up.

Fidelity is the key here since researches realized it wasn´t just homosexuals or drug users that were getting HIV, but women and men that only had sex with their husbands and wives, due to cheating on the other part without a precaution. But I really doubt any campaign will prevent these people from cheating on their SOs, which is a shame really as cheating is so wrong on many levels.

HIV is so spread out now that my guess is we´ll need the cure, some countries have 80% of their population with the virus, so it´s not a matter of prevention anymore.

Stands to reason really - if you don't have sex, there's almost no way you will get an STD.

Of course that relies on an expectation that's not really realistic these days, and as long as people have the right to make their own decisions with regards to sex and morality - there will always be risk.

But then again - we all face risks in one form or another when we leave the house each day.
