VSC to NVC to Embassy

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this topic has come up before. I'm just wondering what we do next. We received email approval on Friday 2-22-08. I know our petition now goes to the NVC but how do we know when they get it? And when it's forwarded to the embassy? Can we still check the status on USCIS.gov or is that done with the NOA2?

When I get the NOA2 hardcopy will there be other paperwork in it that I need to complete and send to my fiance in the UK? Or is it a list of what you need to send?

Sorry for the many questions. We're wondering what's ahead for us.

Check out the K-1 guide under the section labeled "What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2)" for what to do next.

To check to see if your case has been received by NVC, you can call them. You'll need to know your USCIS case number, and the beneficiary's name and date of birth. Sometimes it's hard to get through, word is that the best time to call is early morning or late at night.
