Yes..it sure does...but the point is that she doesnt know when they will be approved (NOA2) yet and she till want to go visit him as they planned

Of course if they get the notice of approval soon...if I'd be her I wouldnt visit for 6 months but for a shorter period of time.

However...they can get it in only a month or so...and I wouldnt want to be stuck in my country either loll

On other notes...theres couples who got their interview after the 4 months limit of NOA2 in Canada and they didnt have any problems...on what they say loll

This is not particularly notable since many cases take longer than four months from approval to interview. Consular officers can and routinely do extend petition validity as needed.
