Usually they don't make you do the new year taxes until after April, so this is just a little rude but not a problem (they haven't even done the new guidelines form yet so they shouldn't be requiring it.)

It just means they want to see that he's still working and still meets the requirements. They probably asked you to submit your passport with it so that they can just issue the visa. It just means that he needs to file his taxes a little earlier or you'll have to wait until he does. . .Not a big deal. This is good.

I've heard that the CO will request updated tax information when the new tax year information has been released. So it's not surprising that they'd ask for an updated W-2 or 1099/1098 information.

Just provide them with the requested information.

Did the CO keep the passport? If so, that's a good sign that your case will be processed quickly.

:)

Don't fret about this...They just want to see additional tax information for year 2007. If you had your interview before the end of 2007, then this wouldn't have happened. It's all about timing really.

Give them the additional tax info showing the petitioner made enough money for year 2007.

The 2007 poverty guidelines are posted somewhere on this website....I think 125% over poverty level for household of 2 persons is $17,500.00 or something like this. It only increased by $400.00 dollars or so.

i already submitted what they are asking from us.they were asking for a new affidavit of support from my husband and his 2007 W2. (i guess the consul is considerate enough coz filing is still on April and he just really wanna see my husband's income is enough) and yes, i had my interview just this February and since 2007 w2 is already available, the consul asked for it. (becoz we only submitted 2006) they also keep my passport and let me pay the visa delivery fee.:thumbs::thumbs:
