You are all right, touches probably don't mean anything except getting your heart racing. The UCSIS states imfatically that they process cases in the order they are received. We all know this is a downright lie. I know personally of many cases submitted more than a month after mine that have already been approved through VSC. They can't all be special cases for expediting if so then they all know something we don't. Touches may or may not give hope or false hope depending on how you look at it. Waiting just bites no matter what. I hope and pray for all of you that your loved ones will be with you soon.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but it's important to realize that touches mean nothing. You cannot glean any information about your case from a touch. Some people get them right before an approval, some people don't. Some people are touched at random times during their wait, others never get a touch at all. For all practical purposes it's a random update. You can only ever know if a touch was related to an approval (or RFE) after the fact, so it's best not to give any weight at all to them.

I wasn't trying to glean any information from the touch. I was simply asking if anyone was aware of the people at the USCIS working on sundays....

I know it is early in my timeline so I am not expecting anything soon.

Yes, there are employees working on Sunday there, they hired new representatives that are working overtime and over weekends in order to clean the backlog.

I got touched on Sunday too as well as a lot of people here on the December forum.
