very confused i am...

ok here is my story in short....i had my CR-1 interview in Jan of 2006 and had to wait since then for some clearing...

Meanwhile i moved away from Canada (where i applied), and live in Europe now. I kept in touch with the Embassy and State department all the time (and all i kept getting is that i am pending on the security check), recently i was told by the state department that a termination letter was sent by the embassay, hence i informed the embassy that i am still interested in my case and that i want to see my love...

...anyways....now in 2008 i received a letter asking me to fill a DS-230...my quesitons?

- Does this automatically mean that i will have a new interview ?

- Since i don't live in the country i applied for the CR-1, would my case be affected (I can't prove recidency in Canada if i was asked)?

- Can they move my case to my new recidency area?

Thanks .... would really appriciate

Very confused I am now too.

Sorry bonefish. I dont have any useful info or advice. Just wishing you goodluck.

Guys, i was looking at my old DS-230 and realized that it's expiration was in 2007, Could this be the reason why I need to fill new ones?

Anyone, Please give me a hint...
