Hi everyone,

I wanted to see how everyone else is doing in status filing from Texas? I want to see how long it is taking for there I-129F to get approved. I went to the Texas branch on the USCIS web page and they didn't have an entry for processing of I-129F.

Really, I hope not cause that will delay the process even longer and from the looks of it California's processing time is just as worse as Texas. Will they notify you if they transfer it to another center?

Actually, about all the petitions filed in Texas have been sent to California. CSC seems to be picking the pace but still aren't back to where they were a year ago. I did a timeline search for petitions sent to Texas for India and there were only two from 2006 that showed up. The average was 167 days. When I didn't restirct to the embassy it showed about 196 days.

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated as early as August 5, 2006*.

All petitions sent to TSC are forwarded to CSC. That is why TSC doesn't give a timeline for 129F. Just look up CSC timeline. I am with TSC or rather CSC. It appears that CSC is picking up pace. And you are right, we TSC people lose one week for first sending application to TSC, which is then forwarded to CSC. But we have no choice. I mailed my application on 4/4/06, but this re-routing delayed the NOA1 to 4/13/06. Had I the option of sending it directly to CSC, NOA1 could have been 4/6 or 4/7. Too bad. Besides CSC is loaded up, hope they have a enough staff to handle two centers. I wonder why TSC doesn't send applications to VSC that is not as loaded up apparently.....

That's because Texas cases get transferred to California automatically. Check the CSC processing dates

You can also track yourself against other VJers timelines on the USCIS forum 'CSC/TSC unite' list.

It helped me seeing how others were doing, gave me something to aim for rather than the times on the website. Its also a good support group as we are all in the same boat there! (I'm not anymore but I'm still doing the list updates for a while)

I would say 90 days is the average time noa1 to noa2

Check you NOA1 on the bottom next to the bar code if it has been sent to CSC the address will read:
