1. What's the easiest and quickest way to talk with the right person about your case? Just call the main USCIS number? Or is there a better way?

Also, I tried to look up my cases online and I get an error saying that my file isn't found.

2. Does it just take them awhile to update the online files?

1. Try the call center first, if that doesn't work, make an infopass appointment.

2. Yea it does. It may not appear until the case has been touched or status has been changed.

By the way, what exactly does it mean when people talk about their case being "touched?"

We received the biometrics appointment today. Actually we received two notices...one for the 485 and one for 765. One appointment is at 2pm and one is at 3pm on a Saturday.

Questions:

1. Is this normal to recieve a seperate biometric notice for both 485 and 765?

2. Is it a good sign that we received the biometrics appointment relatively quickly?
