Stuff needed for AOS interview

Aloha,

Joan and I received our interview notification letter today. There are a couple of things on the list of things to bring that we are unsure of what they are.

1. The letter asks us to bring the medical exam form (I-693). As we understand, this was in the sealed envelope that was taken from Joan at Honolulu Airport. All we have is the I-693A.

2. Another thing to bring (and we quote) "All documentation establishing your eligibility for Lawful Permanent status".

Also as an aside, does anyone know what factors are involved in determining whether an interview is scheduled or not??

Congrats on getting an interview date! No there is no known factors regarding who gets an interview and who gets approved without one.

Don't worry about the request for the I-693, because it is in the file which they will have at the interview. Most of us didn't have a copy of that and it wasn't an issue. However, bring the I-693A to the interview just in case. (Did you include it in the AOS packet you sent?)

When they ask you for proof of eligibility or relationship at the interview, that is when you turn over things with both your names on it, like lease/home ownership, insurance, utility bills, credit card/bank statements, etc. You can also get friends & neighbors to write statements (notarized) about how they know you and how they have observed you have a true, loving, committed relationship.

Don't forget to update your Timeline and signature with the interview date! Good luck to you both!

I think u have to bring her I-1693A and some proof like joint accounts, utility bills both on ur names, insurances, snail mails both addressed to u and her, or other documents that is under ur names that will prove u live together. I didnt have an interview but i hope this would help...

The form said nothing about clothes. I assumed the interview was clothing optional.
