I've always been fascinated by history - and spent time studying it ... on my own.

In my browsing through everything - I've seen such horrors that have happened by the hand of man. Anyone who denies this has not happened, is truly a fool. The Holocaust is REAL, the Holocaust HAPPENED. If seeing a mass grave *filled* with thousands of souls who were tortured in life, and died a miserable death doesn't prove it to you ... then you're blind.

But, just looking at the atrocities committed by the Nazis - is not right.

The Poles burned Jews alive - and aided the Nazis.

Stalin and the Communists killed *MILLIONS* of Russians - more Russians were killed than Jews.

Others were killed in the Holocaust - Gypsies, dissenters, Russians, Mentally retarded persons, sick people, people deemed "genetically inferior", etc. It's a deeper problem than it's "generalized" to be. The whole problem of stereotyping and baseless prejudices - still exists today. See the phrase: "Islamic Extremism". The whole Middle Eastern population and 1 BILLION Muslims are punished & persecuted for the actions of what, maybe at the most 100000 people? 0.0001% of the population is bad - so we single out everyone. 1 out of 10-000 people. Say, is that about the percentage of criminals we have here in the USA?

So by that reasoning, since a Hispanic man stole my car, I should hate all Hispanics then? That's idiotic reasoning. But that's the same reasoning passed on by our media.

That's Nazi-esque. That's prejudice & stereotyping living on. It should NEVER be accepted in any case. I don't care which population it is, which minority, culture, anything. A human being is a human being. You may not like them, but that's no reason to look at their background and hate everyone who shares 1 thing in common with them.

** Whoops, I should have mentioned the number of Russians killed. About 20,000,000 - compared to 6,000,000 Jews. (9,000,000 total by Hitler's murder - if you single out the Jews killed, you're forgetting about 3,000,000 additional lives which were lost. We should remember ALL who have fallen to the atrocity, BUT, the bulk of Hitler's madness went to the genocide directed at the Jewish people.)

It was a bigger slaughter of people, BUT, true, that the killing of Jews as a population ... was far more atrocious than what had happened in Russia. Russia wasn't genocide - it was a murderer on an insane blind rampage of epic scale, which was generally ignored. I'm still shocked that FDR could sit near Stalin. The enemy of our enemy, true - but if the enemy of our enemy is a monster, we should not have allied with them.
