Okay, have you guys TRIED or heard of a "method" to make a baby boy or baby girl? I'm serious! lol

I'm curious..If i ever decide to get pregnant, i'll be happy with whatever God gives me, but i think i might be happier with a girl... They're so adorable! I already bought her a red velvet santa outfit with all the fur and the hat and stuff.. Oh and i bought her a nice halloween costume...I know, im silly but it was on sale! lol

My husband said he's heard that if a woman cums b4 the guy, then it's a girl. If the guy cums b4, it makes a boy..

Oh my. That's graphic.

That said, if you read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler, she explains how timing intercourse during the first or second half of your fertile time can possibly determine whether your child will be a boy or a girl. She does state that it is still theory, but also presents some scientific evidence on how this could be true. :)

I think I remember reading something about studies saying closer to ovulation could be male, further away would be female. Apparently girl sperm have more longevity!

Jeldi , that's interesting...I most probably won't be able to get my hands on the book so can you sum up for me what it says.? About the timing part..

I'm not sure it really is possible to "make" a boy or a girl, but i was just curious about the grand mama stories that people have heard.. When the time comes and we're ready, we'll have nothing to lose to try some of the interesting ones! :)

lol

Boy sperms are supposed to be fast but weaker. Girl ones are supposed to be slower but stronger. A few negative G's in a fighter plane or on a roller coaster (the guy does this) should increase chances of a girl.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

i've never understood why people who have yet to have a child would choose one sex over the other.

i understand in certain counties there is pressure to have one or the other, but ....

by saying you would be happy with 'whatever God gives me, but i think i might be happier with a girl is quite disheartening to read.

i'm far too maternal to participate in this sort of discussion ... maybe i'll see myself out!!

Increased stress on the body that occurs when a man is on roller coasters and in fighter planes can kill off the male sperm before conception occurs increasing the ratio of females to male and thus increasing the probability of a female.
