Would anyone please explain why they( USCIS ) can't ask for what is needed once? Why ask for this and when they receive this and then they wan't that. I called today after recd. e mail overnight. Could not say for what this time have to wait for the letter to arrive. This system needs a complete overhaul. WHAT THE HELL.... I HAVE AN IDEA.............IDIOTS :help: !!!!!!! I wish ....

Hello Jean and John,

I could not explain why they are requesting a second RFE now.

Though let me share my experience with them.

In January, after not hearing from them since JUNE (!!!) my husband decided to use the infopass to get an apointment with his local immigration office... to be told a RFE had been sent sometimes in december... We had not received anything neither our lawyer back then. We fired our useless lawyer because of whome we were being sent a RFE, that stupid clueless lawyer had simply not included my previous devorce decree...

My husband then called USCIS EVERYDAY and they would always give him the same answer... a RFE has been sent oh but we can't tell you what for...

One day, finally, he ended up talking to a nice lady who told him she'd request our file and fax him the RFE. It took her 4/5 days to have to file go from one side of the building to her desk... She finally faxed it to my husband and our surprise was very high when we discovered that the RFE was dated the day my husband had had this infopass apointment at the local immigration office.

So who had lied? We have never heard neither seen that supposely sent December RFE so far...

We sent back the documents requested in the RFE and it took them another 10 days to just open the enveloppe once it had been delivered... our congressman case worker pushed it untill it was opened... Since then, we have been told to wait another 60 days...

03/31/08 Arrival in the U.S.

AOS:

I-485, G-325A, I-765, I-131.

05/29/08 AOS sent for Christine and the children.

06/10/2008 NOA 1

07/01/2008 Biometrics

07/18, 23 and 25/08 Physicals

08/30/08 Employment Authorisation (valid for 1 year)

08/30/08 Authorisation for Parole

11/19/08 SSN (valid for work only)

12/04/08 Initial Interview appointment / Rescheduling requested

02/03/09 Interview appointment / very easy, very nice officer, not too many questions, our evidences were enough

02/03/09 Green Card granted for the four of us

02/16/09 Green Cards arrived in the mail

Just thought about the fact that we did have a second RFE 3 weeks after the first one had been sent which was only a reminder... meanwhile they had received the documents requested in the first RFE but had not opened them yet...

NVC JOURNEY BEGINS

4/07 NV Case number assigned

4/08 AOS, DS and all fees paid online

6/09 tax transcript for 2007 just became available -whoot

6/20 NVC receives everything nothing more to give them now just close eyes and pray

6/23 NVC enters into system

6/26 NVC - RFE uggh - wants all three years of Federal tax return listed and they lost originals or so they say - DING DING ROUND TWO

7/25 NVC Case completed whooottttttttt

8/7 Case forward to US EMBASSY LONDON OH YEAHHHHHHHH -

Embassy - case out for delivery to embassy via DHL sneaky us lol

08/10Received

08/19 Medical Exam completed - healthy oh yeah!!!!!!!!

9/26 @8am -Interview - approved VISA IN HAND OMG WHOOT!!! HELLO AMERICA MY LUV

POE- Atlanta then MCO - October 15th with the cat "GIT" on board lol - POE SUPER SWEET

Husband home finally - god what a journey....but after 400+ days we made it
