Thanx guys!

Oh Ling I wish I had the visa lol. At this stage we haven't really achieved that much in terms of the actual journey - Alan's petition has now been approved at VSC so we will have to wait for our case to be sent to London and then we'll submit a few more forms, I'll go for my medical and then my interview and THEN we will know if I can have the little stamp that says I can come and stay for 90 days! What a palava!

We are so fortunate our application went through so quickly, my heart and all my good vibes goes out to everyone still waiting.

Have a great day everyone!

xxx

Hi, Bex!!! I just got my expedite petition approved and it's now in the mail !!! :P Sorry, I keep telling everyone of you about this, just so excited about this cause it took so damn long time... I think now we are at about a same timeline, please keep updated of the case and let us know what's going on, and I am going to do the same thing...

God is listening to our prayers and he will definitely bless all of us !!! :star:

Hi, Sarah! How are you doing? I notice the your timeline and first thing grabbed my eyes are the year 2025, and I thought to myself, OMG and I just got so confused... and it finally makes sense to me when I read what's following that... and then I just feel the same here... It really takes forever for USCIS to approve the case, thinking about if they hired me to work for them, I probably will approve 100 cases a day... expecially the military spouses cases, all get approved... I just spent time with my husband together on his days off, now he gets back to work shift again... I just feel like I am sitting here getting old for waiting for the visa approval...

You're STILL waiting????? I thought you applied for the expedite. USCIS need a kick up the wotsit!!!! Ling, your Husband, if he can, needs to chase it up .... if not, he needs to ask his Commander if he can do it

Hi Sarah,

I see you're still waiting for the approval. Did you file for an expedite?

Person

Not for a military expedite, but we did apply for an expedite for other reasons (death and terminal cancer) .... we were denied.

Not if you've already applied sadly. You need to follow Matt's link I gave in the other reply I gave to your question, and your case should go through.

thanks sarah... about that.. u think its possible to apply the DCF even we apply in states in vermount..

Hi,Sarah!!! I thought I still have to wait forever for the expedite, but it was approved on May 12 and email notice already sent to my husband, just because of he doesn't get access to internet to know about this until now!!! and now our approval notice is in the mail !!! I am so exicted about this, and wanna share it with you!!!

I will be in Louisiana - not sure which city yet, cause my husand want a quiet place to live in... sometimes quiet will be nice, but sometimes it will be horrible especially when I am alone...

WOW, that is such a Great News! Congratulations! Please share with us how this came about. A lot of military spouses will need this information.

Louisiana is not that far :). My husband and I used to live in Mobile, Alabama for like 6 months until he was activated. We went to New Orleans from time to time :). But ..yeah... quiet place can be REALLY BORING sometimes. That's why you need girl friends :).

Hi, every one here!!! and Mrs Hooks,

Here was what we did about our expedite, as you see my timeline, we got our NOA1 for I-130 on Feb 19, and we didn't know anything about the military expedite before, and we were sitting around waiting for almost 2 months, until Apr 7, I asked my husband to call the 1-800 number for the case status and what we need to do for the rest. As my husband called them, there was a woman answered the phone, as my husband said, he thinks the woman worked in military too since he could tell that from her way talking. The first thing my husband told her was he's deploying in Iraq, and wanted his wife to be in the states when he comes back from R&R or finish his mission in Iraq. And as soon as the woman knew he's deploying in Iraq, she gave my husband a serial number and told him she would fax our case, and asking for expedite. and then on May 9, we got email notice asked for addition information, and the respond required in 20 calendar days, and my husband faxed what they need to them as soon as he read the email within 2 hours. On May 12, our expedite approved. and On May 13 they have it in the mail.

Those were all we did for our expedite, we didn't call the military helpline, we just called the 1-800 number, and I think for your case you could have your husband call the 1-800 or the Military Helpline 1-877-247-4645, tell them your situation and apply for the expedite. And here are what they asked for in the email to the following:

Documents may include: a complete description of the emergent personal

reasons for this expedite: a letter you have written and signed

explaining to the service why you need this case worked in an expedited

manner: a copy of your military orders or a letter from your commanding

officer regarding your deployment / situation: or any other information you

would like to submit to support your expedite request. If you submit a

document in any language other than English, it must be completely

translated. The translator must certify that the translation is accurate

and that he or she is competent to translate.

Note: You must submit the requested foreign language document along

with the translation.

Hope this may help you, waiting for your good News!!!

Guys, you are all so wonderful, and I really appreciate your wishes ..... I soooo hope you're right.

Actually, I do have a strange feeling about it all .... and I'm getting the urge to start tying up lose ends here in England.

Maybe like a dog senses when it's master is coming home .... does that make sense?

I just hope it's not wishful thinking

Love to you all
