Hello Everyone...I am new here. By the way im mae lim. I have some Qs to ask, im just so ignorant and so new to all this things, im on the process of preparing documents for my AOS, now last last day me and my hubby had some argument about check n money order coz i insisted that we need to use money order instead of check, now just to please me, my husband came home last night with 3 money order,2 of $500 n 1 of $10 a total of $1010 for the AOS fee. all i thought is we can just have a one money order wid the total amount for the AOS.now my question is will that be fine sending 3 money order n not just one? also i would like to ask if i need different folders for my I-485, EAD and Advance Parole? or i can just put them in one folder and just indicate all the documents on the cover letter? Thank you so much in advance and please bear with my ignorance. God bless!

Welcome to VJ family. We sent 2 money orders and no problem with USCIS. You're Ok, make sure to get a copy from them for your own archive. Also, I put all the forms with the respective evidence together, in the same folder, of course you must include a cover letter for list all the documents and forms attached.

A personal check is perfectly acceptable, and in fact preferred, it is easier to confirm when a personal check is cashed, than trying to confirm a MO has been cashed.

Sometimes 3 MOs confuse them at USCIS sometimes they don't.

Every thing can be sent in one envelope to the Chicago PO box, just keep the applications separated by clips or ACCO fasteners.

Also do not share evidence, each needs its own set of evidence, I-485, I-765, and I-131 need to be treated as separate applications, only that they are sent together to USCIS in same envelope.
