I'm not sure this is possible, but I would like any input if you have it. We would like for Re's sister to come here to basically be an au pair when we decide to have children. That way we don't have to worry about where we are leaving our child when we have to go to work, and the baby will learn Dagaare. There's not many Dagaos in the US who we could hire to stay at home with our child.

The official au pair systems all seem to require training which is not available in Ghana. His sister also doesn't have her secondary education. She's been taking care of the other sister's kids since she was little, and Re just got her away from the elder sister to get her into school last year. If she was here, we would teach her English and enough to pass the GED and whatever other educational goals she may have. (Both Re and I have been teachers)

Any ideas on how this could be possible?

I don't know. I would study the information about a job visa and see what the requirements are. I'm assuming that there has to be a significant reason why a person from another country is needed and that an adaquete (sp?) from here wouldn't work. I don't know if that would qualify or not. I would read up on sponsoring a work visa. Sorry I'm not more helpful.

I am about two steps away from giving up. Every visa seems to require either secondary education or above. It may be an unrealizable dream. We are paying for her education right now, but she is way behind, so it will be at least ten years before she completes secondary school (high school).

I have chosen to not post the info here for many reasons.. none of which have anything to do with intellectual property or such. The info have was all give by word of mouth and I choose not to be beaten up, talked down to, antagonized, berated or any such thing by readers who dont even need the info but chose to nit-pik everything that they dont agree with ,cant rationalize or cant back up with some law. Again the info I have is being given via word of mouth and I am still doing my own investigations. I posted this here because I saw people who were looking for answers to questions that I was given some info on and being the type of person that I am ..I couldnt sit here and read their question without offering some assistance or attempting support. You know my mom often says that I cant keep a secret for the life of me but my philosophy in life is if I am able to help. I must try. I am sorry if this philosophy has caused any of you to strain yourselves over my posting or might I say not posting but I just hoped I have helped at least a couple people.

Don't worry about the other peoples comments. Some people dont understand or try to be understanding or try and ask u in a nice way why u wouldnt give the info. That is a darn shame why one will jump on one as to why u wouldnt share the info. Goodness people chill out. Remember this is a site for one to help each other but some want to always start some bull #######. Keep it nice. Thank you.
