childrens interview

my wife has been here for seven months and now her children age 10 and 7 are about to have there interview. i know they are granted k-2 staus but what will happen at there interview? is it just to make sure the papers are in order?

i don't know any specifics about vietnam, but my wife, who's from thailand, just attended her daughter's k2 interview in bangkok. we started from packet 3 and simply followed the directions. sent the required documents, gathered the proper documents listed in packet 3 (affidavits of support, birth certificates, medical exam, photos, .... etc.), sent the completed checklist to the embassy, and then waited for the interview date.

at the interview my step daughter was asked only one question. is this woman your mother?

they only asked my wife one question. why do you want to take your daughter to the usa?
