A half sac is 6 beer, a full sac is 12, but called a case. I know some places call a flat (24) a case.

Oh. In Ontario, 24 is a case and 12 is a half case. I don't know if they have any terms for 6 beers other than 6 beers. lol

In Quebec we just call it a 6 pack. And 12 is "Caisse de 12" and 24 "Caisse de 24"

Oh right. A 6 pack. That's what they call it in Ontario too. (Can you tell I'm not terribly familiar with buying beer? lol)

Shoes were a tad small, so back online and ordered the next size up!! Thats was at 1700 Monday, by noon the very next day, shoes were here!! sweet!! And free shipping on returns! Canada now has zappos, but no free shipping!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

 Yes, I sneak onto VJ during business class. I'm making good use of my "time" by earning credits towards my GED. I plan on immigrating to the US and becoming a motivational speaker when I'm released. If it doesn't breach the terms of my parole, that is. ;)

I have not a clue what government cheese is. But living by the river sounds lovely!

Another favourite thing!....

Legal U-turns!!!!! Honestly, those things are the best thing since sliced bread. I must admit to being as confused as heck by them at first, because they're not legal in Canada. I wasn't quite sure how to do it... do you handle it like an intersection or what? But now I know to keep to my left and I won't have people hatin' on me. Yay for legal U-turns!!!!!
