hello everyone,

i have question regarding the document verification. is this really required in the USembassy? i read all about this but im confused bec. i asked the officemate of my sister in manila if she already paid about this but she said that "NO". :blink: But she received her visa 3 days after her interview. no delayed...b4 i thought this is the visa fee.hehehe... :lol: but anyway,i already paid this last feb.6 bec. my fiancee told me to pay this for incase.

any responses is highly appreciated :D

* March 26,2008- Leave Philippines

* March 28,2008- POE GUAM....nice people...IMMIGRATION very accommodating...good ,friendly people

* March 28,2008 - Arrived Orlando, Florida

* April 02,2008- Apply SSN

* April 18,2008- BRIDAL SHOWER

* April 20,2008- Rcvd my SSN

* April 26,2008- MARRIAGE

* April 28,2008- Rcvd my Marriage Certificate Documents

* April 28,2008- Change my name to my married name SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICE

* May 01,2008- Got 2 Bank Accounts

* May 05, 2008- Rcvd my SSN with my married name on it

* May 22,2008- Got 2 Credit Card Accounts approval

* May 23-28,2008- Visit Alabama,Mississippi and Louisiana

* May 31,2008 - Mailed my EAD- I-765

* June 04,2008 - Notice Date Rcvd

* June 09,2008 - NOA arrived (PROBLEM:My first name spelled incorrectly)

* Aug. 02, 2008- Rcvd a USCIS letter that they corrected the typo error

Fast Forward...

FEB 12,2011 - SUBMITTED I-751 APPLICATION TO VERMONT SERVICE CENTER

FEB 22,2011 - RECEIVED NOTICE OF ACTION ON I-751 APPLICATION

well this is also something new started jan 1 2008 so if your office make had her interview set or had interview before jan, 1 they didnt need to pay it.

but you will need to pay it also make sure you follow up as the link in amy n post if there is some mix up or something you will be asked to pay again and be delayed 6 or more weeks

Just pay it or you will be like me.... I was interview feb 04 but my visa was released to delbros feb 19 and i got it feb 22.I didnt pay even after the interview maybe thats the reason of the delayed releas of my visa Good luck to you

well,she had her interview last feb. 5 & after 3 days feb. 8 she received her visa.

Oh really?i have friend & we had same sked on interview last march 3 & until now no visa yet eventhough last feb. 8 she paid & she said thats the reason why her visa delayed. And i have another friend her interview was last march 12 w/ her fiancee & after interview she paid the document verification & only 1 day she received her visa. Oh my God! so fast. Well, im so happy coz after 3 days i received my visa w/ my fiancee. Thanks..... :D

The majority of petitioners are not required to go through document verification. Despite the reason for verification stated on the USEM website, they seem to pick petitioners by random selection.The reason to pay ahead of time is to try and prevent delays if document verification is applied to your case.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony
