I got a puppy!!

Last week Mel phoned me about a woman who used to work at his company that had Labrador pups- she had 3 left to give away. She is a very generous woman who wanted to give them away to people she knew as opposed to selling them to people she didn't. I got my hopes up and later found out there was such a response and they chances of us getting one were pretty slim. The lady who had the pups ending up talking to one person that she promised a pup to saying we were a nice family with a small boy and really wanted one. He was touched and gave the dog up to us!! I named him Cooper and he is my little sweetheart. he is 6 weeks. I have been taking lots of pics of him but I have to get Mel to teach me how to upload the pics from the camera. Mel did send me this picture in my E-mail of the whole litter- so he is one of these:

We got ours at a year old so we didn't have to train her but we also missed out on the fun of having a puppy..

As a cat lover it pains me to say this but those are cute. Check out the kid in the plaid's hands. It looks like he's trying to give the goat horns (corna) but he hasn't mastered it yet. Keep at it kid one day you too can grow up to be a Knight In the Service of Satan.

Haha- I know- the picture of that little kid is priceless. I haven't met the family but I did talk to the woman on the phone when I took Cooper to the Vet a few days ago for his first shots just to confirm what he already had done. She is a very sweet lady. She gave all the pups away for free. Both parents are AKC registered. She wanted them to go to good homes and had no interest in making a profit off of them.
