So me and my sweetie finally got married after dating for a while,and I was wondering does anyone no how the process goes if you marry in st.lucia like I am ,,My hubby resides there and I reside in Georgia,,I am not sure which step we should take in order to get us to be together faster,,Is there possibly a way he can obtain a visa and we continue filing in the united states where we will reside,,Help? would be oh so much appreciated,,Am seeing the the closest embassy is in Barbados,,,does anyone no how the processs works in that country?

Hey Dayna, welcome to VJ and good luck on your journey. Just read the guides up top and post in the regional forum "latin America and the Caribbean" and you will find people there who have gone and are going throiugh the process. In general you will get tons of information.

You need to start by getting an original marriage certificate and download the I-130 form and instructions and start there. Post your questions as you go along and they will be answered. This is the best place for you to be right now
