Name it and we'll film it, and I might throw in an accent for free! :D

It was either Noble Roman's or something in "The Square" or both if Noble Roman's is on the campus.

Or something like that... I couldn't understand Steph's accent :P

Noble Roman's in Delaney Square. (I think it had another name...)

I worked there, too.

It went away several years ago - DePauw bought the building (like they always do) and turned it into some kind of office thing. The huge Victorian house that was next door was the scene of one of Greencastle's few murders several years ago. At that point it was a steakhouse and one of the owners shot the other. The house was given to anyone who would move it, and it's now the restored Victorian Day Spa out by Veteran's Memorial Highway.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Mags - when she tries - sounds more American than I do. Actually, she sounds more "California Valley Girl" than "American".... It's hilarious, though. Especially since she acts all stupid and dingy when she does it, too.

"Like, oh my god Becky! Look at her butt! It's like so BIG!"

Bribe her to do that on camera for you sometime.....

Maybe the bribe could get her to kill two birds with one stone and do it while videoing the downtown area. Steph's mom used to live there and work in a pizza place. She got excited when I mentioned the pizza place in the video, but it wasn't the one :(

Name it and we'll film it, and I might throw in an accent for free! :D

I would pay good (virtual) money to hear Mags doing a valley girl accent :)

When Jon, who grew up about 20 miles west of London, tries to do an American accent (like, when imitating one of his female coworkers), he ends up sounding like Rain Man.

His imitations are improving, though. For example, he can do a pretty good (accent-wise) imitation of the "real client" doofuses on the local law firm TV commercials. "When I needed aggressive legal representation, I knew just who to call..."

Hmm...

My husband only speaks basic-intermediate English so his accent is quite strong (and that is one thing he desperately wants to work on). Sometimes I have to repeat a word that he mispronounces because people don't understand.

I hope he learns to speak English like me and not those southerners living here in Flerrrda because I'm from NY

On the other hand, I watched myself on TV (while living in Brazil) speaking Portuguese and my accent is quite slight...sometimes people think I'm from the south of Brasil and not American. That makes me feel good.

Man...nah, I kind of love all the southern twang and culture and everything. Around the bottom of the Blue Ridge mountains and bluegrass and all that is just an extension of Iain's Scottish culture anyway. He heard somewhere once that actually, the southern accent is closer to what "true English" USED to sound like than today's british accents are. Anyway, no, love rocking chairs and baking pies and talking slow and all that stuff :P

One time we took my fiance tubing on a river and stopped at a gas station for fries when we left. Some yuppy-ish Northerners were in there and it's kind of a backwoods town where you just...spot people and look at them like 'not from around here'. ...The guy had never seen boiled peanuts before and asked the cashier if you're supposed to eat the shell and all :(

Some things just shouldn't happen :(

hahaha, I'd never seen boiled peanuts (either) before I moved to Florida.

Wait, what's a boiled peanut like? Do you eat the shell?

I'm still confused over those too. You see little trailers on the side of the road with huge signs advertising "BOILED PEANUTS" and people pulling over to buy some. I haven't a clue what a boiled peanut is. (Other than what the name implies.) Or what to do with it.

I've never really noticed Andre's accent; but I think it's cause I've spent so much time with him and talking on the phone.

I do notice it is heavier when he drinks, when he's excited, and when he lapses into Patois when talking to someone on the phone.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

They are goooooood!!! We always stopped to get the spicy jalapeno ones. Its essentially a huge pot with spices (or none!) with peanuts in their shells. You buy a bag, peel & eat! The peanuts are just tender and flavorful. Before I moved south a girl in my office brought some back from AL. We all looked at her cross-eyed as none of us had heard of it either, now I am a big fan!
