I've found it impossible to do an "American" accent since being here... Although I probably found it impossible when back in the UK too

Mags - when she tries - sounds more American than I do. Actually, she sounds more "California Valley Girl" than "American".... It's hilarious, though. Especially since she acts all stupid and dingy when she does it, too.

"Like, oh my god Becky! Look at her butt! It's like so BIG!"

Bribe her to do that on camera for you sometime.....

Maybe the bribe could get her to kill two birds with one stone and do it while videoing the downtown area. Steph's mom used to live there and work in a pizza place. She got excited when I mentioned the pizza place in the video, but it wasn't the one :(

Name it and we'll film it, and I might throw in an accent for free! :D

Every once in a while I'll have a hard time understanding my husband's accent (Southern). And he has the same problem with mine too (British Canadian). We have to get each other to repeat what we've said over and over, and sometimes say the word(s) slower. Most of the time I just listen to him speak with a puzzled look on my face until the penny drops and I realize he's talking about something COMPLETELY different than what I THOUGHT he was talking about. Makes for some interesting conversations.

yes, Mitch still has this very thick, american accent.... I wonder if he'll ever learn proper German

Yeah, I don't think I'll ever master proper German either. And according to P's family when we spend a lot of time together he speaks German with an American accent!

I managed to control the peeing, but leg humping and shedding are harder to break. People are always very polite about it though and Ive only been arrested a few times...

It was either Noble Roman's or something in "The Square" or both if Noble Roman's is on the campus.

Or something like that... I couldn't understand Steph's accent :P
