Pretty messed up. The woman was being a beligerent drunk, though. I really don't feel too sorry for her, but the cop was rightfully dismissed. Hopefully he will be charged with assault, especially since she was handcuffed. I don't see the FBI letting that one slide.

On a side note, Shreveport is in a part of Louisiana that we refer to as Southern Arkansas.

Ok. I understand the woman did break many laws that night. She's guilty. Fine. But if you have to resort to beating a drunk woman while in handcuffs to calm her down, then you're just a piece os $hit that needs to be behind bars. Turning the camera off?!?!? Her word should hold much more weight than his. And when I saw the pool of blood, I wanted to beat him myself. That fired cop better consider relocating his life if not put in prison. She may have a loving husband. Thats the confrontation I'd like to see on video

Actually, I have a problem with that term in general, since it is often used by those who have a problem with authority, not just specific abusers of authority. Even just using it to refer to a particular bad apple is problematic; it's like using the "n-word" to refer only to certain blacks whom one feels deserve the term.
