PERU PEOPLE I GOT AN INTERVIEW DATE OVER THE PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I CALLED THE EMBASSY AND THEY GAVE IT TO ME, I BOOKED MY FLIGHT FOR MARCH 7 TH THE INTERVIEW DATE ITS ON MARCH 12TH AT 8:45 :energetic:

MY FIANCE HAVENT EVEN RECEIVED THE PACKET 3 YET!!!!!! BUT THEY SAID IF WE HAVENT RECEIVED BY NEXT WEEK HE CAN GO TO THE EMBASSY AND PICK THE COPY UP FROM 9-10AM IN VENTANILLA 14. SO HE CAN GET HIS MEDICAL DONE...!!!!!!!!!!!!

I CANT BELIEVE I LL BE SEEING MY BABY IN 14 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance::star:

Visa I 130 for Step Daughter

Sept 2010-- Getting documents ready. sent BC out for translation.

March 1st 2012-- Sent documents to USCIS

June 15th 2012 EMAIL OF APPROVAL !!

Dec 15th 2012 -- Interview scheduled ( 1-23-2013)

Jan 9th 2013--Medical Exam

2/06/09: Received interview notice for March 10th!!

12/31/07 Received I864 Bill

02/21/08 Sent I864 and DS230 Bill

03/14/08 Received Packet with Instructions from NVC

03/14/08 Sent Packet back to NVC Certified Mail

04/01/08 NVC sends back packet (missing info or incomplete according to NVC?) your kidding me right?!!!!!!!!

05/01/08 Checklist Items overnighted to NVC (almost 1 year since we started the process...wow!)

05/07/08 Packet being returned AGAIN!!!(missing info or incomplete) Somebody just shoot me already!!

05/15/08 DS 230 II overnighted again (NVC claims they never received it)

05/23/08 Case Approval (Finally here!!!!) Case expedited to Lima.

06/12/08 - Medical appointment

06/20/08 - Interview.....Visa Approved

Congrats to you guys!!! I tried calling the embassy today (as you know, I'm supposedly one day behind you leaving NVC) and got 3 different stories from 3 different people about the status of the case, whether or not the packet had been sent to my fiance, etc. I'm feeling very overwhelmed and frustrated (what's new??), but am very happy for you. I'll try callnig again tomorrow- maybe I'll see you in Lima in a couple of weeks!

May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well,they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit,nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !


June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again,still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.
January 12,2011-RFE
