Never tried this one but allrecipes.com is usually good! This one has over 3000 good reviews too.

http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Awesome-Slow-...ast/Detail.aspx

Totally OT but I get a kick out of reading some of the reviews on that site. They start out saying they love the recipe and then go on saying they substituted this that and the other thing and by the time they're done they totally changed it from the original!!! lol.

I'll have to try this one. I'm not a big fan of the pot roast though, I'd rather have a nice porterhouse on the grill.

all these recipes sound so yummy! I think I will try britty's version first! I'm not a huge fan of canned soups and flavor mixes.

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

I love slow cookers. You can't go wrong with it. I made pot roast a few weeks ago. Just put the roast in the pot, added the vegetables on top, poured in a little red wine and cooked for about 6 hours on low. Very good.

I know I love that cat too! Makes me smile when I see it.

I'm very excited about this pot roast, however I seem to get excited about food in general lately, LOL.

Thanks again to everyone for the recipes!

your thread inspired me to ask for chicken meatloaf recipes

 I saw the post but I can't say that I've ever had a good meatloaf much less a chicken meatloaf! You will have to let me know how that works out for you.
