the most important ur original divorce papers and ur trips ticket and some pics and phone logs and letters

I have all that...thanks so much....I was thinking of a 3" binder with 2 sided copies of most. I only printed out the first page of each chat due to the length and paper it would involve. (we'd need a truck other wise) So just enough to prove we were in contact, continued our relationship and for any additional meetings. We dont' have a lot of pictures together...but its because we both hate having our photos taken. But we do have some and trip pics as well. Ok, so a sample of everything organized and easy to find...(even if with paper clips and baggies...lol) and take the rest to him IN CASE they ask for more....is that it???

Yeah I wouldn't bring too much. Your interview will be ten, fifteen minutes tops and will be conducted through a window...kind of like a cashier's window. Not like you'll be sitting in an office examining everything. When are you leaving for Cairo?

In 11 days...March 3, and I can't wait. We are soo nervous. Scared to death of the reputation of this Embassy and long AP's. Im expecting one, he is not. He feels with our long history together...waiting 8 months to decide to marry, 5 visits...that it will over shadow our age gap...I sure hope so.

I sent him a virtual gift...hehehe..they are fun..its a suitcase of money to take to the interview with us...LOL...maybe get visa THAT day??? KIDDING....but it was funny......

Exactly...I think I read somewhere...to put a bit in the initial petition..take a sample with you...and then you still have somewhere to go if they ask for more after interview...

My SOs interview is the sameeee day, Tell him Syd loves him.

i think i would take everything not just simple to show them that we have so many more than they expect and more than they want to prove to them its a real relationship

good luck faith and inshaallah you will be fine

have a nice blessed trip

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

Faith,

I put all of our things into a 2 inch 3 ring binder with clear page protector pockets and photo pockets. That way it was easy to flip through find what they want and easy to remove to slide through the glass window slot. However, all they asked for was my original divorce decree. But you never know what they will ask for. Good Luck.

I find it odd that the interviewer is asking for the divorce decree of the USC. That's something that's supposed to already be in the packet right? Is this a K-1 thing?

Im wondering that to...unless they want to actually SEE the seal...I sent originals in my packet..when i got them I got them in triplicate originals. We will be prepared with originals of all..but I sent originals of everything as well...

Maybe because with those that are married, the Embassy had to already inspect the seal when we went there to get the free to marry paper.

In my original Petition I sent only a copy of the decree. It had been 14 years since I divorced my ex husband and we lived in Texas then. I was active duty military and I live in Alabama now. I did not want to wait for originals in the mail before I filed my petition.....So then I hand carried my original to Ahmed when I visited the second time in October. Maybe that is why they wanted to see it to make sure it was legal.

I agree...thats why...they wanted to see the legal seal to make sure. that makes sense. I dont blame you for not waiting. Amr and I had been talking for a year about our petition before we were really ready to file. so I had time to collect all the needed items.
