Mark, get real.

It is this exact thing that has caused the looooooooooong process in marriage based visas. More so than the fraudster trying to convince some poor USC that he/she is madly in love with them.

Really? It's not because USCIS don't have enough employees to process petitions in a timely fashion?

Really.

I don't think so.

Then you've just been spending too much time in Off-Topic and not enough time on the other forums!

Seriously Becca, how do fraudulent petitions affect the process for everyone else?

Hasn't the process always been the same for everyone, fraud or no fraud?

Well no Mark, really it hasn't. Laws change all the time and more layers are always added to the process. IMBRA and John Walsh Act just since I have been active here.

Do you seriously think that if the government wasn't concerned about people entering the country illegally through marriage that they wouldn't just rubber-stamp these petitions the same way they virtually do for highly skilled immigrants, who slide through in just a few weeks?
