Hi guys! Need your advice on this.....

I have submitted original application in august, haven't heard anything until December

I resubmitted the I-130 in November, as per suggestions of the local immig. officer guessing that the original got lost. Resubmitted package has new receipt number.

In meanwhile my original got approved. What do I do with the resubmission that has new receipt number? Can I withdraw it? Can I got refund for it since it's waist of time and money? What should I write in the letter to withdraw this duplicate unnecessary petition?

Please advice. Thanks.

I am pretty sure you will not get a refund but you can probably write a letter to the service center where you submitted your petition to and ask to cancel your last submission...

NVC Journey Total days: 75

04.09.2008: Case# assigned

05.12.2008: DS230 Entered into System

06.18.2008: Case Complete (So upset that it took this long 37days)

US Embassy:

10.29.2008: Interview Date Assigned

11.17.2008: Medical Appointment

12.03.2008: Interview Date (FINALLY!!!)**APPROVED**

12.08.2008: Visa Delivered

12.21.2008: POE JFK
