I currently moved to poland to live with my fiance during the visa process. However, on the forms i put my current address is still america and she put her address is still her 'home' in poland.

We actually live in a different city in poland together. Should we change our most present addresses to show that we live in the same apartment together or should i keep it quite on living with her and make it seem as if we live separately? The advantage of showing that we live together would prove and ongiong relationship. If not for this, how else can i prove a relationship is ongoing if we 'secretly' live together?

Im affraid it could cause problems if the embassy sees that i live in poland right now.

Maybe im being paranoid, but i would like some extra advice. thanks

I live in Russia and lived here for 1 1/2 years... When i provided them my I-130 for my wife i put my address that i was currently living at which is the address in Russia..... On the I-130 when it asks you what address will you live at in the USA put your USA address that you plan to live.... I was also paranoid that about this also but the I-130 is just to provide proof on the on going relationship soooooooooo.... I have lived in Russia for more than the 6 months required and i gave them around 30-40 pictures of me and my wife visiting different countries and our marrage, i also explained in a written statement why i was unemployed at the time. And explaining why im here in Russia... I beleave it would be best to write a statement explaining why you dont have a job there..... Because you need that kinda proof, a account together, a lease together or working there.... I also made copies of my visa's that i been in Russia for more than 6 months....

Thanks for the reply. Let me see if i understand properly...

on the g-325a where it says "Applicant's residence last five years. List present address first."

Should I put my most present residence as our current address in Poland together? Or should I leave it with my american address as the most recent.

If i went ahead and put my Polish address as my most current residence, would this cause problems with getting accepted during the interview? Would they ask questions about whether or not I have a visa to live in poland, or is that irrelevant for the interview?

I dont have any 'business reason' to be in poland. I am self employed via internet and am living here only to live with her before the visa is accepted.

You put your current address being the one you live at in Poland. Do that. Also you can provide copies of your Visa's that you have lived there for more than 6 months. So make copies of your visa... And i dont work here in Russia LEGALLY atleast. So i made a written statement as in why im here in Russia and for what reason i was completly honest and we got approved in less than 1 month and a interview date... Also like i said the I-130 is just to see if there is a on-going relationship if you have a on going relationship DONT be nervous, why be nervous? This is what i sent to the embassy here.

30-40 Picture's of marrage/vacations together. Alot of kissing pictures and hugging pictures so they can get a sense that we are a couple and married.

Written statement as why im here in Russia and not working.

Copies of my visa's because i have 3 buisness visa's to Russia each different.. 3 month visa, 3 month visa, 1 year visa.

I gave this information to the person in the department in the embassy and asked if this would be sufficient of course he said * It looks good* BUT i was still kinda nervous because i didnt work in Russia and i cant prove that i lived here for the 6 months... BUT! The visa's and written statement was good enough i suppose since i got the interview for my wife... So i would EXPLAIN the siguation as in why your in poland not working... My siguation was that i didnt plan to work in Russia, im there to see my wife finish her education and support her by being there with her and holding a marrage together! :) good luck!

It sounds like a good idea. But heres the problem

I dont have a visa to stay in poland. I just am staying because I wont get approved for a visa because i have no 'legal' reasons to be here...Self employed via internet doesnt seem to work for getting visa.

Soo, if i put my current polish address on the g-325a form, do you think that the embassy will ask my fiance during the interview why I am in poland and if i have any visa to stay here. This is where i see the potential problem.

What does everyone think i should do.

Please someone take the time to answer me. I cant submit my form until im sure i fill it out properly. I need to know if it will cause any problems if i set my most recent address as poland on the g-325a. I want to make sure they wont need proof of visa to stay.

Will they ask about this during the interview? Would I need to have some proof of living at this address with her or not?

thank you! As soon as i get this answer we can submit our form and start the process! (-=
