DS form 230

Hi all Hope I can get some info on this

My Sweetie recieved her packet from the embassy and it doesn't seem to match the ones that are in the Embassy Guide

She recieved the DS 156 form, 156k, DS 158 and the DS 230 forms.

Now which ones will she need for the interview? This got confusing when she told me this

She can use DS-158 and DS-230 forms thats inside the packet but she can use downloaded forms too (if she prefers).

While, DS-156 must be barcoded, in short, she cannot use DS-156 USE sent to her. She can get it from here: https://evisaforms.state.gov/

Niether did I, but that is what she has recieved in her packet. It doesn't seem to match the sample letter that is here in VJ

Thank you for the info. and sorry I didn't mention earlier, there was no DS 157 form, does that mean she doesn't need that either?

For K-1 petition, I believe that she needs DS-156, DS-157 and DS-156K. I am not sure why they sent your fiancee DS-158 and DS-230 but it wont hurt to fill that forms out and bring to her interview.

Well DS-230 is for immigrant visa and K1 is a Non-immigrant visa.

Yes, EricC is correct. I'm wondering why your fiancee got those forms. Maybe the one who put the papers in the package got a mistake. Call NVC or USEM to inquire. Goodluck!
