Thanks I will call them tomorrow. My fiance lives in Kentucky. The nearest city to us is Paducah. He was born in Madison, Illinois, lived there all his life until two years ago. Kentucky is 3 hours drive from Illinois.

Good to hear Mercy will be with you on the 29th. I have a flight reservations on March 5 and March 10 via Northwest. God Bless you, too.

Hello, Manila 2005,

it takes up to 3 to 4 weeks for the document verification to be completed so with any blessings you should hear something soon. I would suggest calling the embassy as much as possible in order to see where your at in the process. We were in the same issue with the document verification and I know it is very frustrating but don't give up hope. You'll get your visa soon if there is nothing wrong with your records. Basically they verify your birth certificate, NBI, cenomar and/or annulment if you have been previously married. So don't worry, it just another process that keeps us from being with our mates. If you need any help or have anymore questions, please feel free to ask us. We're not experts just be thru this situation as have others. Take care and God Bless you with your visa soon.

Thanks to everyone for the congrats recently. Your kindness is always appreciated. May God continue to bless those that are journeying thru this long and difficult process and pay that all you prayers are answered soon.

God Bless,

Jim and Mercy

Hello again Jim&Mercy,

I called this number 301-2000 #7 ext 5184 or 5185. I talked to Grace, gave her my case no. She said my papers are still under review. She could not disclose the reason and the time frame it could be completed, but assures that its a routine that all applicants will have to undergo before a visa is released. She said once verified documents are sent to the Embassy, it will then be forwarded to the consul who interviewed me and will make the decision. She also requested that next time I would like to call them for follow-up to call 1-909-101-7878. The phone line I called is dedicated to calls/inquiries from the US. Thanks again Jim for your advise.

Lynn
