I have always watched American Idol since I heard of Jasmine Trias. From that season on I have become a fan. Last season, I have to say it was a bit "lousy" but this year is a good batch. Well, Joe and I have been travelling for two weeks ( thanks God we are now home) because of his work BUT I insisted that we should be in the hotel by 6pm since the show starts at 7 :). Our pinay on the show has a great voice and I am also a fan of 17 year old David, what a voice.

Hopefully she will give another good performance next week. :thumbs:

you're right! i went crazy of american idol coz of jasmine trias and camille velasco before... i was in phil then... after that season whenever its time for them to go every cities for audition, i always look for pinoys in the show or even guess whose who lol... im not really that "IN" to it if it wasnt for our kababayans. i could say i like AI but not as much if there isnt any pinoys heheh

if she makes it next week then she'll be on the top 12 then its GAME ON! prepare your PHONE and CELLPHONES. hahaha :D

How do we actually vote for her? I dont have a text message service since I dont use it so I had it removed, it saved me $15.00 for monthly charges. My phone is AT&T. Will I be charged if I call and vote or will my call be included in my free minutes?'

As Xenia (eau_xplain) have said it, 1-866 is a toll free number so no charge at all...

If you call using your cellphone, then it will use up your minutes. However, since voting time for AI usually comes up after 9pm when cellphone minutes are free, then you will essentially be using your free minutes.

The 866 number will be free of charge if you use a landline.

our cell phones are AT&T and we seldom call so our minutes soar up to 17,000mins rollover or more lol so for sure i'll be calling if thats the case...

dont forget tomorrow guys vote again (gosh im not being paid for this endorsement hahaha but its fun)

if i do, oh well... its because of my obsessive compulsive syndrome ;)

BTW... another tip.

When you call in, don't wait for the whole message to play. As soon as you hear "Thanks for voting" hang up and redial again. That way we get in more votes.

i didn't know I can use my celfone after 9pm and it's free my husband said if i call 1866 there's a charge but still i voted for her just twice. I was kinda thinking it's gonna be expensive if I make 20 calls lol! Anyway thanks for the tip I'l try that again next week. I'm kinda confident she'll make it to the next round.

Judging from her performance last night, it was not very impressive. All the top 24, now only 16 have great voices, its just really a matter of choosing the right song .Last night Marielle didnt choose a good song and her performance was a little bit dull. Her outfit didn't also help :( . I voted, and hopefully she will not be voted out tonight :(

Actually depends on your phone plan. There are some that the weeknight free minutes start at 7pm. I have Verizon and our free weeknight minutes start at 9pm.

What a great way to kill the suspense for those who have to wait an hour or two before they could see AI. :lol: SPOILERS!!! I'm sad that Asia'h from Joplin, MO didn't make it. She has such a sultry voice. I was surprised that she was voted off tonight. :crying: Oh well... at least our Pinay contestant is still there. She better do her best to make it at least up to top 3. :whistle:
