(L)

::There’s a laugh in my eyes::

There’s a waltz in my walk

And it’s been such a long time

Since there was hope in my talk

If you never knew

What it is that’s new.. it’s you

‘Cause when your hands are in mine

You set a fire that everyone can see

And it’s burning away

Every bad memory

To tell you the truth

If it’s something new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

The world’s a different place

Where nothing’s too hard to say

And nothing’s too hard to do

Never too much to go through

To tell you the truth

Everything that’s new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

My life, my life

Ohh

So if I get to grow old (oh if I get to grow old)

With many years behind me (many years behind me)

There’s only one thing I want (aahh)

One thing I need beside me

For all that you are

For everything you do

For all that you’ve done

Just for showing me the truth

::It’s you...It’s you...Baby it’s you::

Not husband-wife yet, but who cares!!

Daniel is a head banging, heavy metal listening, tough military kinda guy and I love it when he sings all the cutsie love songs to me whenever I am feeling low.

He's even agreed to wear a 'pink' necktie to the dinner hosted by my mum and dad, just cuz it matches my saree.. I love him.. he soooooo cute (hope he doesn't read this - he will never sing to me again!! LOL):lol:

Ok so I guess not fair since my husband is here now but I like to share!

When I was living in Marrakech in the summer I got really sick (I miscarried but didn't find that out until later). I had these horrible fevers and chills and would just shake. Add to that Marrakech is like a freakin oven in August. So my hubby loaded me and our little guy up on the train and promptly took us to Tangier for a week, to escape the heat and help me get better. On the trip up, it was an overnight train, and our cabin was sort of full. Our guy didn't want to sleep and I was sick, so my husband took him and walked all over the train and talked with people so that I could have the whole bench to sleep on.

On this same trip I was craving American food, especially potato chips. Needless to say I hadn't seen a potato chip and assumed well i guess Morocco doesn't have potato chips. I said something about it and he said well why didn't you say something of course we have those! No lie he went and bought a whole box of these chips!

This isn't a memory yet but I've been sworn to secrecy by my sister in law that he's in Morocco now (visiting) and planning a Moroccan wedding for us! I'm not supposed to know but she spilled the beans so I'm sure that will be a new memory as well.

Hang in there girls, I know it's murderous to wait but keep the faith! I think remembering the good things can take some of the pain away and help you remember why you're doing this.

I love to dance and I am very happy that my husband does too though you might not imagine it at first because he is so shy. I remember riding in taxis with him in KTM and he would tell the driver to turn up the radio if there was a good song and start boogieing in the back seat...

At Christmas time I visited my mom in CA and the time difference is even greater there than from NY. I was on cam with him early one morning(the only time he can chat since it's evening over there) and my mom was walking around with a towel on her head, making coffee. She was embarrassed about not being made up but Govi really wanted to see her since he has never met her. I told him she was embarrassed and he said 'Tell her she doesn't need to be embarrassed in front of her son.' :D I also love when he makes funny faces on cam just because he loves to see me laugh... :luv:
