Have Meez.com Animated Avatars Become Too Trendy?

    • Yes, it's really obnoxious. If I had wanted to see what everyone looked like, I'd ask for photos. Besides, these avatars slow down how fast the pages load!

I want to smack the next person that says, "Don't go there." HATE that one. :angry:

Isn't "I could care less" like "Tell me about it!"? You know, sarcastic.

Well, since the statement is erroneous I don't think it actually means anything. :)

There is a whole lot of rage on the internet over this, I've found. :lol:

It's ok..."I resemble that remark" gets me all riled up too.

Cliche's in general get me riled up...especially when they're used in lyrics. There should be a special Grammy for songs with the most cliches in them. I'll bet country musicians would dominate in that category.

Like them in general. Hate them on VJ. I hate it when people's sigs take up more space than the actual posts, especially when they take up more than a whole screen.

It was cute when only a few had them. Now it's annoying. :hehe:

I like to be different and display a sense of individualism. I wish more people would post an honest photo like Alla & I do (customizing and wearing hats optional) :lol: I'd like to see what many members really look like. Its like Mags & Platy's road trip clip. Hearing them and seeing a glimpse of Platy made me humanize them. I really enjoyed it. I like to think we are all more than fictional cartoon characters hiding behind avatars. Hell, after hearing Mags cute little accent, I almost wanted to take back my "evil mod" remark. But, well... it is sort of appropriate in a cute sort of way. :whistle:

Don't get too carried away! Evil can be cute (if that makes you feel better!).

I just got my meez and think it's funny. I find them no more annoying than pictures with flowers and baby timelines and moving flaggies or mini-digital-scrapbookies or the like. To each its own I guess.

Hey now, those baby timelines provide a valuable service. :P ...like, Holy Cow! Our baby is almost due!

Oh wow, Steven. I'd forgotten it was so close!

I dont mind the meez, i like mine, it represents me.....having them on here is no worse than ppl having huge collaged pics all over their siggies. I got mine bc of LisaD, i liked hers so i got one :)

you can fix that by buying a bigger screen, so you won't see the signature occupying the whole screen :thumbs:

i'm at school and this computer is a little weird....all the pics and smilies are blinking really quickly and the funniest part is the meez, hahahaha, they're moving so fast, it just looks so funny, they all look like they're on drugs and wonder woman's running at super fast speed...haha
