I'm still human

And I'm Elvis.

Elvis is too cool, there's no way you are him.

I think you are...hmm...a missing member of the partridge family. That seems more accurate.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I also walked to school, 14 miles away, up a hill, with no shoes, IN THE SNOW  (had to say it hahaha)

My dad used to tell me the same thing, except he threw in something about cow pastures and being chased by cows. He's also from Maui, so I might buy the cow part, but not the snow or 14 miles to school each way. :)

Well, it looks like I'll have an easy day at work on Monday, doesn't it?

I work for a major computer manufacturer with a factory in Indiana. (Hint, it isn't Dell) I can't explain to the assemblers when they are doing something incorrectly, because I don't speak Spanish. A week or two ago there was a rumour that INS was going to pay a visit to our factory. The day the rumour came out, there was almost no one working on the assembly line.

Most of the employees at this factory are employed by one of three employment agencies, rather than actually working for the computer manufacturer. The agency I work for only supplies skilled technicians, not assemblers. One of the two remaining agencies had a bit of an embarassing moment..... 25 of it's employees had the same social security number. Given that all employees are subject to background check and drug test (I was, at least), and are stored in a database based on social security number......it's apparent that the social security number was probably supplied by the agency itself.

There was a housecleaning, and the next day there were many new faces on the assembly line. New, but not different. Ergo, I expect that Monday will be a day of leisure for me, as there likely won't be any assemblers on the job.

Personally, I'm glad that Indiana has attracted Mexicano/Tejano people. I just wish that more of them were here legally. The answer isn't "amnesty" in my opinion.... I think it should be easier to immigrate from "trusted" countries. For instance, why should a resident of Canada have to wait for months to be granted a fiance(e) visa? Why should a resident of Mexico? What about England? (Personal bias here....) I believe that we should make it easier for residents of "trusted" countries to immigrate to the US. But, that's just my belief....

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Interesting story. thanks for sharing. usually TRUTH = RACIST around here ;)

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
