Just before my lovely father in law left to let Dora and i have a night together, we checked my emails. My Mom and Dad have been calling NVC everyday checking for reciept since I left. And 3 weeks to the day after USCIS approval, BOOM, NVC has it. Now our buddy in the Embassy will start calling NVC tomorrow asking for the case. I return home this Saturday night, but at least I know that my blessed Dora shall be coming soon after.

Sorry to not respond for some hours, Dora and i are going to celebrate another hurdle. I must say that i assume she will clear it higher than I. Im almost 40, she is 32. Oh the things we do for love. :)

Timeline 130 filing to POE=306 days.

3/17/08 Mailed AOS via USPS Express Mail to Chicago lockbox

4/21/08 Recieved NOA1's for AOS, EAD, and Trav Doc's.

5/9/08 Biometrics appt scheduled for EAD and AOS.

yes, 1 more day for me.. 1 day and 3 minutes ... I am very nervous inside.. but my parents did tell me whatever happens will happen.. either way (living in US or China) will be determined.. :( but I'm just afraid I didn't put up enough of a fight to bring her here.. It would have been wonderful if she can move here.. I actually don't feel there would be a good outcome (if there was, there should have been already)... they are just going to keep asking difficult questions to me, in spite of my evidence..

Thanks everyone again!! sorry to make this an everyday thing.. haha.. but the time has come for my battle.. even if I lose the battle, the war is not over.. I still have aces up my sleeves.. one would be called "direct filing" (when I move to China).. I can always try again and use direct filing (which is hopefully faster to do)... if not, another ace would be "sue" the USCIS.. more expensive, but my case would be known by a lot more people.. and the judge and jury would surely be at my side.. :thumbs:

Did i read you correct, interivew APPROVED! Hell yeah bro, that is BEAUTIFUL NEWS!!!! I am just behind you at about 290 days. Do you have any travel plans yet, or are you still in shock? For us, our buddy at the Embassy call see our case on their computers and they expect to get the K3 from them by the end of next week. Since packet 3 and 4 are basically finished, they will call Dora simply with an interview date. They said that the begining of the month they are usually busy processing Visa Lottery cases but would try to sqeeze her in.

3/11/08 POE Miami (Why wait, huh?)

Timeline 130 filing to POE=306 days.

3/17/08 Mailed AOS via USPS Express Mail to Chicago lockbox

4/21/08 Recieved NOA1's for AOS, EAD, and Trav Doc's.

5/9/08 Biometrics appt scheduled for EAD and AOS.
