We filed in 2005 and it took 18 months to complete. The attorney's fees and court filings were P150,000 alone. Then there were doctor's fees for pysch reports and DSDW fees because of her daughter's custody decision. That doesn't count the travel expenses from her home to CDO where she filed the papers and for the hearings. I would guess that all in all it cost about P250,000 for everything.

I guess at today's peso rate, $3000 is only P120,000 so that is a fair estimate in my opinion. It's not cheap by any means, but I don't regret a single peso spent. There are ways to get it faster and cheaper I am sure, but be careful. Things that are not done legally can come back to haunt you. Remember that immigration fraud detected suffers a LIFETIME ban.

can anyone suggest/recommend a fast, reliable, less costly Phil. annulment lawyer? where, and how much if it's void ab initio?

it should be cheaper if its void ab initio like bigamous marriage. email me if u want a lawyer.

I have a relative (filipino) that married a woman (filipina) that had been legally seperated for 7 years. They reside in the Philippines. After 7 years (of legal seperation) does she have the legal capacity to marry ( in the Philippines) or are they committing bigamy?

Wow 200thousand pesos!my friend filed her annulment in Pasay City last yr for only 100thousand pesos,it took them 7mos to finish hers.had i known it,i filed mine in Pasay City too

Hey sissy, can you tell me the name of ur atty in Pasay? i have a friend who filed her annulment and she's planning to look for another lawyer kasi nascam siya ng 3rd party na ginamit nila (what i mean about 3rd party is, they were using a friend to do the legwork, contact the lawyer and it ended that they paid almost 80% and just to find out her case was reset for no evidence kasi walang cooperation and 3rd party with the lawyer after getting their money).  Please sis give me the info of that lawyer.. thanks..

BTW, i cant recommend her my lawyer since I filed in Cebu.

THanks.. mwah!
