after 221(g) and returning petition to USCIS the embassy just sent me an email

Timeline

my interview was on Jan,22nd,2008 and they informed me that they would return petition back to USCIS, the embassy just sent me an email.

My K3 petition was returned back to USCIS on Jan,22nd,2008 and i am still waiting till this moment to hear from the USCIS

It means what it says. Your case was never returned to the US. The earlier notice was of their intent to do so. Their intent has changed, at least for now.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

one of my friends told me that the further processing might be thier routine procedures before sending the petition back to USCIS. :help:

one of my friends told me that the further processing might be thier routine procedures before sending the petition back to USCIS. :help:

It is but when they do that, you don't receive a notice of intent to deny. You get a notice indicating further administrative processing is needed.

There is a slight chance still for the application to stay there. There was a case from Casa recently they also were told their case was to be returned after a couple months it never was, and he was given the opportunity to have a second interview, which he passed and is now in the U.S> If you did your follow up work to try and keep it there until you know the pouch number you can hope......
