I was paying really close attention to the news and campaign a couple weeks ago, but I just got really sick of it all and now I've been flipping to the travel and history channel instead, much more interesting

Console yourself for another hour or so if that makes you feel any better but at the end of the day, Obama has taken Wisconsin and with that has logged the ninth victory in a row with # 10 to follow later tonight once Hawaii announces that he's won that state too.

Its based on exit polls and early returns. Most of the time, after the results are counted, the projections do indicate the winner.
