need help for AOS interview

Hi all, been here for a while, after wife is here on K3, took some time off from this forums.

Now have a doubt on Medicals. Did a search, couldnt get any info.

Have all the docs/photos/stubs,etc ready.

what about medicals? The AOS appointment letter says that we need to bring in our medicals too..

arent these medicals done at the foreign embassy? or should she get her medicals done again here in the US?

The medical report she got done at the Foreign embassy were taken from her, and i guess they have it in the brown colored sealed envelope...which she had hand over at the POE

any suggestions shall be very greatful

The medical is only valid for 12 months.... so if it is more than 12 months since the medicals were done you will need to have it re-done by a civil surgeon here in the USA...

Yes you need to take the vaccination record to a civil surgeon and have them transfer the info onto the vaccination supplement I-693A... they will give you a sealed envelope with the completed form inside.. that is what you need to give USCIS...

Could you please advice me on how it's possible to get my vaccination record? Right now it's sealed in the brown envelope I'm going to present at the POE (I'm flying to US this Sat, Feb 23 and will be applying for AOS shortly after we get marrired in early March.) So, do you think I have to contact the health center that performed my medical and to get a copy of the record, or I can ask for a photocopy of it at the POE? I'm curious becuse I've been reading this thred to learn more about AOS and I knew about I639A form of cousre, but now I have no idea about what document I'd give to a civil surgeon to fill in the form for me? My point is that I have three more days before my flight and I could get it here, I rather woulld.

Also, at my medical I was told that there are three vaccination shots missing and I either could get them done at the same place I was doing the medical, or could do it prior to filing AOS in the US. Do you know where I could look up the prices for those shots in the US? Here, they said I'd pay $60 for all three (two of them are single shots; for only one of them I'll need to have two more supplementary shots in two and eight months which I'd be doing already in the US.)

Any advice would be appreciated

If you do not have a record of the vaccinations you have had, you could contact the doctor who did your medical and get a list... you could have the needed shots done here in the US at a local health clinic or before you leave your home country... you do not need to have completed all the shots as long as you have had the first one done...

You should have been given a copy of it at the meddical.... the entire contents of the Brown Envelope are kept by POE and are sent on to USCIS where they become your immigration file...

If you are still in your home country you could contact the doctor who did your medical and ask for a copy if the vaccination report (DS-3025)....

i did get hold of the photostat copies of the medicals done at the foreign consulate.

the medical rpt looks good, but on the vaccination doc, the doctor striked off the middle and wrote "K3 visa" on the middle of the doc.

and below under "results", there is a check box "applicant may be eligible for blanket waiver because of the above reason" and the above reason is, like i said, she stroke off and wrote K3 visa.

do you think we look fine?

Looks like I was more organised than I thought. Found DS-3025 just now nestling behind a copy of the NOA2 which I'd put for safekeeping... Silly me!
