Click me!

I'll never forget when I visited my parents in Malta and we went to this restaurant and they ordered rabbit stew (rabbit being the national dish there). That's okay, I thought (as I ordered pizza), that's not so bad...

So, up came this steaming bowl of stew filled with chunks of poor Peter and Bugs and my Dad stuck in his spoon and up popped a skull. Teeth and all.

I'll try anything once! Why not? If chocolate was formed in the shape of a #######, would you still eat it?

Just because it looks like #######, don't mean it tastes like #######!

The worst.

Casu Marzu cheese

Its translucent larvae are able to jump about 6 inches into the air, making this the only cheese that requires eye protection while eating. The taste is strong enough to burn the tongue, and the larvae themselves pass through the stomach undigested, sometimes surviving long enough to breed in the intestine, where they attempt to bore through the walls, causing vomiting and bloody diarrhea.

When we renew our vows in Jamaica sometime in the future, Andre says it's traditional to eat Goats Belly Soup. It includes the balls and intestines......I'm thinking there is no way in hell I am eating that stuff!

Eeew !! Unfortunately I did "click" on that link and I think of all of "delicacies" on offer, the larvae cheese that can breed in your intestine is the one I would most likely politely refuse, if offered. Geez, what is wrong with people? If you have to fight an army of enraged ants, it can't be good can it??? I have to add Skittles as a terrifying food actually. Instead of "tasting the rainbow", I ended up having the Heimlich Manouevre performed on me when one lodged in my throat.
