Sharif:

Are they going to call me in US or my husband?

Which e-mail did you use to send the AOS bill and DS-3032.

Did you use James’s shortcut?

My husband already signed the DS-3032.

What’s AOS bill?

you need to call this number everyday 603-334-0700. you will get Auto message after you enter your case number tells you what is going on with your case.

for the email I used something like this

Have your foreign spouse send an email to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov with the following contents:

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is ....., my visa case number is #......

Unfortunately I cannot locate my DS-3032 and would like to appoint my husband as my agent of choice to receive all the correspondence from NVC. His name and address is:

......

All mail from the U.S. Department of State concerning my immigration visa application should be send to the address above. Thank you for your help.

Sincerely yours,

Good sample letter. One thing, the foreign alien spouse can also cc (copy) the same email to the US Citizen petitioner. That way, you can be sure of that NVC receives the email. Just a thought!

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Thanks a bunch for all the responses and help.

O boy! I can't wait to see my hubbay walking down the JFK. Too much of this nonsense certainly affects peoples relationships and lives. Hang in there people! I guess we all have our turns even with the super-slow USCIS.
