IT Tech is something most of our 14 year old kids handle. If not there is always someone in another country willing to do it for $4 an hour. It was a job when no one understood computers but now everyone does so there is no market for it.

I wasn't aware that IT Technicians are 14 year olds! If there's so many people in other countries willing to "do it for $4 an hour" then tell me why there are so many organizations starting their Technicians at $15 - $18 per hour in this area alone! Work has dried up to an extent but still..! So everyone is now an expert in and there isn't a market? So when you phone your tech support line that isn't a market? When you go to firedog or geeksquad that isn't a market? Lets not forget all those IT people employed to support companies.. they are what.. getting paid for what? They must all be 14 years old are they?

Your post and your comments I find insulting I just don't understand how you could say what you just said. You must be an expert in the subject ? That or you just talked right out your #######!

Yeah, I agree with you.

Companies hire me and pay me $20/hour to set up computers, perform hardware/software upgrades, play around with Active Directory, and such. It's kinda hard to get someone to do that over here for $4/hour. "IT Tech" doesn't mean talking to people on the phone and telling them to reboot their computer.... it means knowing what parts are most likely to fail, how to tell, how to replace them, and when to suggest a PC replacement. It also means that the person can roam around in the registry deleting harmful things without screwing up the OS. It means knowing where to look to turn off that annoying-as-hell "You need to reboot your computer" warning that pops up every 15 minutes after a Windows Update. (Hint, my computer doesn't have that pop-up...) Being an IT Tech means being able to install Slackware from a tarball using the command line, and having all dependancies accounted for. How exactly are you going to get your computer to India where the $4.00/hour people are so that they can do that?

That's hilarious. Have you been to O'Keefe's Irish Pub down there? Honestly, I was SO excited that we might get some good fish and chips finally. WHAT A LETDOWN. A HUGE letdown. That has to be the worst Irish pub I've ever been to in my life. yeesh.

I've been there.. It isn't quite pub like but.. the Americans appear to like the food element more than the drink element. I've seen worse Irish pubs.. just look at any of the big "copy & paste" pubs! It's all food here! It would have been nice if they served a fry or something more the the dishes they serve, most of which I personally never heard of.

Unfortunately we have tried their "chips" and where not too impressed! Honestly if they are going to charge to more than most places for food they could at least make it original, real to the "theme" and actually make it taste half decent. The food overall that I've had is about average next to most places. It isn't anything flamethrowin! A real fry would be nice but it might scare off the regular customers!! Anyway you can't get the ingredients for a fry here out of a box or a freezer. Yes I've seen worse... Beef O'Bradys to start with, glad that place is gone! and I've seen that other stupid one too.. I forget the name now it's all over the place least in Orlando. Bennigans or something?

I'd give O'Keefs a few points for trying at least, they do have some ciders you just can't find in the wilds of the US. There is also a few other things that are original about the place but I'm not that fond of the food. Then again I've quite picky about most foods here, chocolate is the number 1 food I miss from home!

I haven't tried Bennigans. (Or whatever it's called. lol) I've had good fish & chips & mushy peas from a pub in Kissimmee. Going to try St Andrews pub in Altamonte Springs.... I hear they're really good. There's also an Irish pub in Sanford that I've just heard about so I'm going to try that too. And you can get proper chocolate and other foods from England in the World Market in Sanford! Trust me. I'm a regular.
