Hey guys... I know that I have already posted this in the February thread but I thought I might get more feedback out here...

We sent out our package on the 15th and are just waiting for it to be picked up, hopefully by tomorrow.

We just have one concern. We currently live in Hudson, WI with Mel's parents but we're thinking of moving to Maplewood, MN in a few months. Here's the issue. We want to retain our Wisconsin residency but since we'll be living in MN, all our utility bills will have a MN address. We will both have WI driver's licenses.

I am just wondering what are the implications of having two addresses on this process...

Thanks in advance for any responses!!!

If you move, (even temporarily) you are required by immigration law to notify USCIS within 10 days for the immigrant, and within 30 days for the sponsor, or potentially face monetary fines, jail time, and/or deportation.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE ME OR EMAIL ME. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CURRENT US IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES!!!!!

You know of course that just keeping your driver's license from one state does not mean you wont be a resident of the other state? For instance I still have my WA drivers license, but because I live in MD, I am a resident of MD and pay taxes in MD etc. Best case, you will be a dual-resident if you have sufficient ties to WI.

As the other poster said the AR-11 still needs to be filed to report your physical address as that is what is needed for USCIS & DHS. Just pester them plenty and check up a few times to make sure the address change went through as requested. File the online form.

Hope this helps
