Hi everybody,

Well we did the interview and guess it took all of 15 minutes. The lady was a very nice soft spoken black woman that had a very happy type of personality and a very serious business side. She asked all the questions we expected and didn't ask as many as we expected.

We covered our meeting, speed of courtship, divorces, work & family.

All in all we thought everything went very easy.

But, we have to go back in another year or so and interview again to show our relationship is still a real one after two years. And of course another application form to submit for that also. Have to research that since I was not really clear on if she meant that we had to file the form before the green card expired prior to the next interview or do it now. (sigh)

So it took almost one year to the day from when Jane arrived till we had the interview and got the residence granted and less than a year after the wedding.

God is good all the time, All the time God is good.

Prayers upon all for a quick journey through the maze.

2-16-05 Tick Tick Tick

2-22-05 St. Lukes trip, problem with Passport lamination on picture causeing trip to DFA for new one. Good thing she went early for medical or it would have blown interview date.

3-4-05 Interview is over and we got Administrative Review because of my divorces and them needing a 3rd copy of her visa extension for the office. (don't those people own a xerox?)

3-21-05 YAHOO Thank You God. Jane received her visa today.

Now for the exit seminar. Won't be till the 15th so that adds a couple more weeks to our wait. But almost together again.

4-23-05 SHE'S HERE! Got home from the airport awhile ago.

Thank God for her safe trip to be united again.

5-15-05 We have our wedding date set for the 18th of June.

After all the debate between a Justice of the Peace or Religious ceremony. We opted for Gods way. A Garden wedding with lots of Filipinos and friends. :)

Congrats!

The lady may have been referring to what is known as "Lifting/Removing Conditions". You can read VJ's guides HERE for some further info.

As it stands, your wife is a conditional resident and must apply to remove these conditions to become a permanent resident. This must be done 90 days prior to the current Green Card's expiration date. Some people are called for another interview and some are not. Read the VJ Guides and the forum dedicated to this and it might help you out

And again congrats!
